At a TibaPay partner hospital, the cashier records the bill for your treatment. This is what makes the amount verifiable, so financing pays a real bill rather than an unconfirmed figure.
In the app, request financing against that bill and choose how many instalments you would like. Your request is then assessed.
If financing is offered, you see the amount, the service fee, the total repayable and every due date. Nothing is charged unless you accept, and the offer is valid for a limited time.
Once you accept, TibaPay settles the bill with the hospital directly. Money is not disbursed to you as cash.
Pay each instalment from the app on the dates you agreed. Your balance updates as payments settle, and you can pay earlier than scheduled.
Nothing about the cost is left to be discovered later. Before you tap accept, the app states:
If any of that does not work for you, decline. Declining costs nothing.

Some things are worth being direct about before you apply.
Each application is assessed on its own merits. Some are declined, and some are approved for less than was requested.
Financing needs a bill raised in TibaPay by a partner hospital, so it cannot be used for a bill from a provider outside the network.
Falling behind may lead to additional costs and can affect future applications. Contact us before a due date if you are struggling.
